Πραγματοποιήθηκε χθες Πέμπτη 23/6/2011 στο αμιθέατρο Αντωνιάδου η εκδήλωση με θέμα Evidence Based Approaches in Recruitment and Selectionκαι την συμμετοχή των Prof. Neil Anderson (Brunel University, UK), Prof. Cornelius Konig (Universität des Saarlandes, Germany), Prof. Fiona Patterson (City University, UK), και Ιωάννη Νικολάου (ΟΠΑ).

Συμμετείχαν 120-140 συμμετέχοντες (HR Executives και προπτυχιακοί/μεταπτυχιακοί φοιτητές). Ακολούθως μπορείτε να δείτε τις παρουσιάσεις των ομιλητών.

Το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών στην Διοίκηση του Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού του Οικονομικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών(ΟΠΑ) και ο Επίκουρος Καθηγητής Οργανωσιακής Συμπεριφοράς κ. Ιωάννης Νικολάου ανέλαβαν από το European Association of Work & Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) την διοργάνωση του Επιστημονικού Συνεδρίου “EAWOP Small Group Meeting on Selection & Assessment.

Στα πλαίσια του συνεδρίου, θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο αμφιθέατρο Αντωνιάδου του ΟΠΑ ανοιχτή ομιλία-διάλεξη με θέμα: Evidence Based Approaches in Recruitment and Selectionμε τους ακόλουθους ομιλητές: Prof. Neil Anderson (Brunel University, UK), Prof. Cornelius Konig (Universität des Saarlandes, Germany), Prof. Fiona Patterson (City University, UK), και τον Ιωάννη Νικολάου (ΟΠΑ).

Special Issue of the SGM in the IJSA

As mentioned before, the International Journal of Selection and Assessment, a flagship journal in the field of Selection and Assessment, has agreed to provide space for a special issue on the topic of the small Group Meeting.

The Special Issue will include a selected number of papers chosen from those presented in the Small Group Meeting and it will be published in volume 20 (2012) issue 3.

The SGM participants will soon receive more information about the submission process.

Reviewing process now complete

March 1, 2011

We have now completed the reviewing process of all submitted abstracts. We have received 44 abstract submissions and 24 submissions were accepted for the SGM.

The author(s) have been informed about the decision and the author(s) of the accepted papers have to submit a full paper (5000 words max) by the end of May. In order for a submission to appear in the programme, at least one of the co-author(s) of each submission MUST register to the SGM BY THE END OF APRIL. The registration will be carried out through the SGM web site. The registration process will be available soon.

A draft version of the programme will be available in a few days.


Accomodation & Venue information

We have added information about the venue where the Small Group Meeting will take place and accomodation information.

SGM parrticipants can beneft from the discount prices offered by the Athens Park Hotel or other hotels within walking distance from Athens Park.


Special Journal Issue of the SGM

We are happy to announce that the Editor of the International Journal of Selection and Assessment (IJSA) Professor Chockalingam Viswesvaran has just informed us that the Editorial Board of the IJSA has accepted our proposal for a special issue published on the Small Group Meeting’s papers.

The submission process is now closed.

We have received an unexpectedly large number of high quality submissions (44 abstract submissions). We will complete the reviewing process and the author(s) will be informed on the decision by the end of February.
